Learn more at: Job Description: 1. Strong understanding of agile (SCRUM) software development processes, and their role within this. 2. Experience building and maintaining high-volume externally facing APIs. 3. Experience building and maintaining production Python systems/applications 4.Understands how to work on a multi-functional team (not only coders that uses version control and automated end-to-end testing with continuous integration. 5. Strong working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data models and schemas. Professional demeanor; able to perform well in high-pressure situations. Responsibilities: 1.Design and build simple, elegant, and scalable solutions that solve complex business problems. 2. Develop (or support the creation of, with business analyst help) well-written Engineering artifacts (e.g.Systems & Application designs, API documentation, Solution Maintenance documentation, etc.)as needed. 3. Reasonably estimate effort for software projects by thinking through solutions end to end. 4. Build and maintain production Python systems/applications fully test code, comment well, and write the simplest code possible. 5. Effectively communicate with stakeholders and non-developers to understand the business reasons behind the change being made. 6. Knowledge/Experience Requirements a Required: Minimum of a University degree in computer technologies (e.g. Comp Sci, Info Systems, etc. Primary Skills- Minimum of 6 years' experience using Python.
