Job description
Responsibilities: Develop and execute white box testing strategies, methodologies, and test plans for software applications and systems. Analyze software requirements, design documents, and code to identify test scenarios, edge cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Design and implement unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Write and review test code, scripts, and automation frameworks using programming languages and testing tools (e.g., Python, JUnit, Selenium). Conduct code reviews, static code analysis, and debugging to identify defects and potential issues early in the development lifecycle. Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce, isolate, and debug defects found during testing. Document and communicate test results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders. Stay updated on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes and techniques. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in white box testing or software development roles. Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in white box testing (e.g., Java, C++, Python). Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Skills: White Box Testing: Proficiency in designing and executing white box testing strategies and methodologies. Test Automation: Experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts. Programming: Strong proficiency in programming languages for writing test code and scripts. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects. Preferred: Certification in software testing or programming, demonstrating specialized knowledge and expertise in testing or programming principles.
