The Key Account Manager is responsible for handling Sales and marketing of categories like Sauces, Salad dressings, Soups, Bakery and Confectionery.
Core Responsibilities
- Area of responsibility – The salesperson would be responsible for sales and business development across PAN India for the categories like Salad dressings, Sauces, Soups, Bakery and Confectionery. The salesperson would coordinate with technical team and business development team in order to increase the customer base and also generate new projects that has potential in across platforms like SBT, C&S, PBP, FS and SRSS. Coordinating with new prospects and developing new business, Price decision and negotiation, would be key responsibilities. Collaborating with technical team to develop prototypes to show to customers during customer visits, addressing any technical queries. Collaborating with Business development team to work on new trends and new concepts that are regionally driven for better business.
- Key account Management, Pricing management would be key responsibility.
- Coordinating with Supply chain team and customer service team to ensure more than 95% OTIF to customers.
- Maintaining customers and developing new customer base in the categories that are handled would be sole responsibility of this salesperson.
Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory Requirements
- Degree – Post Grade in Food Science or Technology.
- Work experience – 7 years of Industrial experience specifically in Food Ingredients/ Flavour sales.
- English fluency, both written and spoken
- Willing to travel extensively within the country
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in Food system, modified starch selling experience is advantageous
- Working knowledge of Technical and Sales
