Job Title: Technical Scrum Master
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analyst / teams, development teams and help oversee the deliverables of the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies
- Collaborate with business analysts / teams for prioritization of backlog. Help team with story grooming and story breakdown
- Iteration / sprint planning – protect team from over committing and scope creep
- Identify and remove blockers faced by scrum team
- Managing scrum boards, ensure status is up to date
- Aid the team on estimations, brain storm on improving efficiency
- Ensuring requirements are refined, manage and maintain a healthy backlog
- Identify and track risks, issues and dependencies
- Analyse burndowns, velocity and other planning tools with action plan for improvement
- Counsel team members and stakeholders for process disagreements, collaboration and improvements on productivity etc.
- Maintain Jira hygiene
- Identify areas of improvements and define action items for improvement
- Ensure deliverables are upto quality standards at the end of iteration
- Release tracking and planning with QA lead
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of software development experience with knowledge of software development lifecycle
- 4+ years of experience working with Jira
- Experience managing scrum teams and working with business stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
- Excellent people and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to understand and represent both business and technology
