Job description Interics Design Consultants is a 39 year old design firm that specializes in workplaces. We employ a research driven, people centric design approach to humanizing the workplace.
We are searching for a quantity surveyor to join our team and he/she will be responsible for the following: Responsibilities Assisting in establishing the client’s requirements. Preparing Bills Of Quantities (BOQ) by means of coordinating with all related parties (Design, Procurement and Finance), Assist in costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect cost for the BOQ items. Visit the Site as and when required to take measurements and monitor progress. Analyze and compare quotations received at bid stage. Check and review the site requisitions and compare them with the approved BOQ. Submit and negotiate contract variations, additional works, snags and maintenance orders. Managing files and organizing documentation related to the projects. Skills Required Strong verbal and written (English) communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD. 2+ years experience in commercial interiors. In-depth understanding of how the design process works.
