We will count on you to: The Information Security Architect Leader will participate in the secure software development lifecycle of Mercer applications. This role will be part of the Mercer Information Security team, and will collaborate with other IT teams including operations, infrastructure, and application development. · Principally responsible for leading initiatives to embed robust security measures into the development lifecycle for Mettl cloud-native applications. · Oversee the implementation and enhancement of security controls for the Mettl cloud infrastructure, ensuring resilience and adherence to cloud security best practices. · Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate Mettl's cloud infrastructure and applications into MMC's network. · Conduct comprehensive risk assessments specific to Mettl cloud environments and develop plans to mitigate potential threats, aligning with MMC security policy and standards. · Provide leadership and mentorship to the Mettl tech, fostering a culture of innovation, security awareness, and continuous improvement in cloud security. · Ensure compliance with relevant cloud security regulations and industry standards, establishing and maintaining robust governance practices tailored to Mettl cloud environments. · Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the Cyber Security and Cloud domains, and proactively develop strategies to mitigate risks. · Help improve and review API Security configuration standards and controls. What you need to have?· A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related field. · 13-16 years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role, with significant experience in cloud security and cloud system implementation. · Exceptional technical acumen, with a deep understanding of IT systems, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity practices. · Proven experience in leading cybersecurity initiatives, particularly in cloud-native environments. · Strong understanding of secure application development and cloud infrastructure security. · In-depth knowledge of cloud cybersecurity risk management, compliance, and governance. · Proficiency in cloud security technologies and best practices. · Strong knowledge of secure software development practices and methodologies for cloud-native applications. What makes you stand out?· Security Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, AWS Certified Security Specialist, or Azure Security Engineer. · Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools for integrating security into the software development process. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. · Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and secure solutions. · Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. · Experience in Agile (scaled) software development or other best in class development practices.Job tags
