Job description
Role : DevOps Automation Engineer (Infrastructure). Location : Bangalore, India.Job Description : Responsibilities :- Serve as the primary point of contact for infrastructure automation configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Cloud Formation.- Ensure the overall health, performance, and capacity of our Internet-facing services.- Create dashboards and tools for day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting for the DevOps team.- Perform advanced troubleshooting and monitoring of systems to meet SLAs.- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure design and expansion.- Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features, installations, and updates.- Work closely with development teams to ensure platforms are designed with operability in mind.- Drive standardization efforts across multiple services.- Identify and lead efforts to improve automation processes.- Participate in an on-call rotation.- Function effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.Skills :- 5+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability experience in infrastructure automation.- Experience in designing and building Test Automation Frameworks for cloud-based products.- Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.- Familiarity with Continuous Integration Tools, specifically Jenkins.- Solid experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, ELB, Auto Scale, and CloudFormation.- Experience with data monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, Cloudwatch, etc.- Strong interpersonal communication skills.- Experience with Apache/Nginx.- Knowledge of kernel and network-based tuning for performance and stability.
