Broad outline of the Role
Need to have L2 level skill set having below experience under VMware .
vSphere
vSAN
vEXSI
vCenter
vNSXT
Customer agreed Scope:
- Surveillance and Troubleshooting of Dell server (R740XD vSAN Ready Node), Unity XT480 storage, Management nodes, VMWare Site Recovery Manager (SRM) .
- Level 1 support for Toolbox VMs and level 2 support for NVI platform.
- Incident Management (drive through to Incident resolution) using NSM as the ticketing tool.
- Use Optus provided tools to perform troubleshooting and fix (L1 & L2)
- Work with vendor support and field technicians (as part of an incident)
- Ensure Backup monitoring, retrieval and restoration process in place and aligned.
- Problem management, Change management and knowledge management
- Participate/support/ guide Technical bridges
- Carry out preventive and corrective actions viz. Health checkups, regular O&M activities etc.
- Apply Minor (bug fix) patch updates after Optus Engineering tests. Excludes Major releases.
