Job Description: Ophthalmologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ophthalmologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating eye diseases and injuries performing surgeries and providing preventative care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat eye conditions
• Prescribe medication and corrective lenses as needed
• Perform surgical procedures such as cataract removal LASIK and corneal transplants
• Provide postoperative care and followup to patients
• Educate patients on proper eye care and preventative measures
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in ophthalmology
• Valid state medical license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus
