Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at GOOD FIVE YES JOB CONSULTANCY. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for various projects. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The role is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and is a full-time position.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in mechanical design
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Creo, AutoCAD, and Solidworks
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with product development and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations

Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software such as Creo, AutoCAD, and Solidworks
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project completion
- Conduct research and analysis to determine project feasibility and requirements
- Optimize designs for cost, reliability, and performance
- Generate detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs
- Troubleshoot and resolve design, development, and production issues
