Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites. Your expertise in WordPress development, theme customization, and plugin integration will be crucial in delivering high-quality websites that meet client requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating user-friendly websites.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop WordPress websites, themes, and templates based on client
requirements.
Customize existing WordPress themes and templates to match client branding and
design specifications.
Integrate and configure plugins to add desired functionality to WordPress websites.
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to ensure a
seamless website development process.
Optimize WordPress websites for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely
manner.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure compatibility across various browsers, devices, and
operating systems.
Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends, plugins, and best practices.
Keep the WordPress core, themes, and plugins updated to ensure security and stability.
Provide technical support and assistance to clients and end-users as needed.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of
WordPress projects.
Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin
integration, and content management.
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
Familiarity with PHP and MySQL for customizing WordPress themes and developing
custom plugins.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and web standards for optimizing WordPress
websites.
Experience with website optimization techniques, caching mechanisms, and
performance optimization.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot and debug issues efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with popular WordPress page builders, such as Elementor or Beaver Builder.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks, such as React or Vue.js.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and user-centered design.
Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrating payment gateways into
WordPress websites.
