Role Description

This is a full time on-site role for Associate Director Food and Beverage in Chennai. The Associate Director Food and Beverage will be responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and operational management for all aspects of the Food and Beverage department. In addition, the Associate Director Food and Beverage will be expected to drive revenue and maintain financial goals, as well as ensure that service standards and quality exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
• 12-15 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, at least 5 of which should have been spent in a senior management role
• Excellent command over English, both verbal and written
• Proven track record in managing large teams and delivering results
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and planning abilities
• Able to develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with other departments, employees, and guests
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage products, menu planning, and cost control measures
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of leading a team as well as working independently
• Familiarity with current industry trends and innovative ideas to drive the business forward
• Willing to be hands-on and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
