A&H Underwriting Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced A&H Underwriting Manager to join our team. As an A&H Underwriting Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the underwriting process for Accident and Health insurance policies. This is a part-time position based in Pune and offers a hybrid workplace type.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of underwriters, providing guidance and support in the underwriting process
- Review and assess insurance applications, determining risk levels and appropriate coverage
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, policies, and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and sales, to ensure smooth operations
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes
- Provide training and development opportunities for underwriting staff
- Handle complex or escalated underwriting cases
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of underwriting activities
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in A&H underwriting
