Role And Responsibilities As an AEM Architect, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of AEM and other content management system projects. Your role will involve hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud modules such as AEM, Target, and Analytics. You will also be required to integrate Adobe marketing suite modules with other platforms, including headless solutions. Other responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing complex use-cases, including dynamic components, core component extensions, and API integrations
- Hands-on experience with AEM versions 5.6 to 6.5
- Working with components, templates, taxonomy, metadata management, replication, workflows, content publishing, tagging, and deployment using Maven
- Strong understanding of OSGi, Apache Sling, and SIGHTLY concepts
- Integration with popular products and technologies
- Implementation of quality processes, including accessibility, SEO, URL management, security, performance, and responsive architecture
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies, including Bootstrap, Backbone.js, React, Angular, CSS3, HTML 5, and jQuery
- Good knowledge of Java, JEE, XML, XHTML, JavaScript, JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementations
- Understanding of AEM capabilities such as multi-site manager, live copy, blueprint, and core component extensions
- Experience with Dispatcher Configuration and URL re-write using Apache modules
- Knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing, deployment, and delivery processes
- Experience with project go-live activities and deployment methodologies
Candidate Qualifications To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A minimum of 10-12 years of overall experience
- At least 10 years of experience in AEM and other content management system project development
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud modules, including AEM, Target, and Analytics
- Experience integrating Adobe marketing suite modules with other platforms
- Good understanding of headless implementations
- Proficiency in front-end technologies and Java development
