Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, your primary responsibility will be packing boxes and ensuring the efficient handling of goods within our warehouse facility.
Packing Operations:
- Efficiently and accurately pack goods into boxes according to specified guidelines and standards.
- Verify the accuracy of items being packed and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Safely handle fragile and delicate items to prevent damage during the packing process.
Goods Handling:
- Retrieve and organize goods from the warehouse shelves based on packing orders.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
Quality Control:
- Conduct routine quality checks on packed items to maintain high-quality standards.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with inventory to the supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Documentation:
- Record and maintain accurate documentation related to packed items, inventory, and shipping orders.
- Use computer systems to update inventory records and generate packing lists.
Microsoft Excel:
- Must know about Excel and basic computer functionality. Data Entry are there.
