Responsibilities
Deliver modeling and simulation projects using general purpose and specialized numerical software
Work with senior simulation chemists to perform tasks of ingredients virtual screening and virtual formulation to accelerate product innovation cycle time.
Develop novel strategies and methodologies to improve molecular modeling on food innovation
Communicate and present modeling results to peers and stake holders
Qualifications
MS/PhD degrees in computational chemistry/physics, organic chemistry, food chemistry or similar
Fundamental knowledge of computational chemistry, and molecular modeling application
Hands on experience with molecular modeling software for QM, MM, and MD modeling .
Experience with one of the commercial software is a plus - Gaussian, MOE from CCG, Materials Science from Schrodinger, Materials Studio from Biovia , Culgi from Siemens
Proven ability to retrieve information from compound database and publica resources.
Experience with large data set analysis, compound fingerprints, compound database and cheminformatics is a plus
Knowledge and experience in food/beverage ingredients is a plus
Strong project management and communication skills
Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners in a global setup
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to technical and non-technical groups including internal SMEs/stakeholders and external partners .
