Job Title– Business Data Analyst Location– Remote Experience:- 5+ Years (should be ready to join in 30-45 days) Job Timings : 10 AM to 8 PM / 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives. Conduct thorough data analysis using Excel and other tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and other methods. Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Statement of Work (SOW) documents detailing project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Design and create visually compelling dashboards and reports using PowerBI to effectively communicate key metrics and insights. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing existing processes and recommending enhancements or automation opportunities. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations. Monitor and evaluate the performance of key business metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Utilize project management tools such as Jira or Azure Boards to track project tasks, timelines, and progress. Utilize SQL to query and manipulate data from relational databases for analysis and reporting purposes. Provide training and support to team members on Excel and PowerBI usage, promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis and reporting. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros. Strong knowledge of PowerBI or similar data visualization tools. Experience with requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation. Familiarity with preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Statement of Work (SOW) documents. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira or Azure Boards. Strong SQL skills with experience in querying and manipulating data from relational databases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
