Job description

Purpose of the position:

The incumbent plans sales strategies and activities required to drive the installation base target and sales target within the division. The ultimate objective is to grow sales in the assigned area, expand the market size and to increase market share though effective lead management, Therapy promotion, product demonstration and sales efforts.

Responsible for product sales activities for divisional products, including Training & Education, competitive data gathering, Lead funnel management and timely reporting to supervisors as per norms.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Drive Sales for Full Endoscopy Spinal Systems in his area/territory.
·  Knowledge customer organization and purchasing process & sales methodology in capital equipment sales.
·  Ability to draw up own action plan to deliver a target within an agreed time scale
·  Ability to liaise effectively with all levels of personnel within customers: Spine Surgeons, Biomedical Engineers, Purchase Team and Hospital/Department Heads.
·  Ability to ‘Value Sell’, i.e. probe to find real needs/wants and then sell our ‘RIWOspine Full Endoscopy Spine System’ product’s benefits which meet these needs.
·  Understand the Training needs of the customer and consistently help them to meet the training needs.
·  Ability to understand the Therapy nuances and offer application support to customers to enhance the Therapy adoption.
·  Ability to handle more than one demo at a time & desire to hunt for new prospects – maintain an active pipeline
·  Key account management experience.
·  Pipeline management through CRM portal and sales focus
·  Apply advanced marketing skills to develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements and purchase behavior. Monitor the evolution of materials Science/Industry market within the Industry field and competition working closely with Supervisors.
·  Identify growth opportunities in the assigned geography, guiding and attracting the support from appropriate marketing services resources and working closely and energetically with divisional colleagues.
·  Provide information & analysis of price trends of the key products within the Industry portfolio and competitive price information

Requirements

  1.   Education: Must be a Biomedical Engineer/Science Graduate
  2. Age: Must be below 35 Years
  3. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in sales role (within medical industry), Sales experience in Capital Equipment business is desirable.
  4.   Desire to Travel and conduct cold calls.
  5. Proven track record of sales achievement and Account management.
  6. Skills:  Planning, Effective Communication, Product Demonstration, Prospecting, Negotiation, Relationship Building, Collaboration and Teamwork   Soft skills: Communication, persuasive, active listening.
  7. Attitude & Behaviours: Self-motivated, Driven by targets, Results-orientation, Perseverance, Customer focus,   business acumen, and Learning agility.
