Job Description –

Consultant Production Planning

Main Job responsibilities: 1. Develop a demand forecast based on past sales; 2. Review forecast vs actual sales weekly and take appropriate actions; 3. Plan production of all the products as per the production lead time. 4. Plan procurement of all the raw materials of the company as per the lead time; 5. Ensure optimum stock levels of all the products 6. Update Inventory quantity on Shopify. Ensure that the products on the website are properly listed; 7. Share weekly/ monthly reports as necessary.

Other job responsibilities: 1. Understand the current e-commerce inventory process and suggest improvements. 2. End-to-end coordination with the relevant team starting from planning the order till receiving it to the warehouse. 3. Keeping himself up to date with the SCM and E-Commerce industry through the latest news and updates. 4. Transform the client’s requirements into a work plan and follow through on execution. 5. To work with the team collaboratively and address their concerns and resolve them after discussing with seniors, if required.

Requirements: 1. 1+ years of experience in Production planning is a must. 2. Excellent communication abilities with analytical skills. 3. Proven experience as a production planner. 4. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills 5. Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles 6. Experience in E-commerce Production and Supply Chain including preparing projections, etc. 7. Experience in managing teams and training them. 8. Knowledge of warehouse stock levels, re-ordering levels, and planning orders. 9. Working knowledge of Inventory processes (Purchase, warehouse transfer, etc.) 10. Should have strong knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint 11. Expert in Excel and Google Sheets. 12. Good team leader and good trainer;

1:30 PM to 10 PM •
