Job Description:

Your Role:

As an Assistant Child Psychologist / School Inclusion Facilitator at Insighte, you will play a pivotal role in helping Neurodivergent children achieve academic, behavioral, and social goals in the school setting, as well as home setting. We operate with a child's rights-based approach, committed to fostering inclusion at every step.

Training and Support:

The successful candidate will receive continuous training, support, and specialized instruction in the TEACCH approach. We equip you with the necessary tools and expertise to work effectively with children with special needs. Throughout the year, you will facilitate various training programs and workshops, receiving supervision to enhance your skills.

Compensation:

In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be remunerated on a percentage basis for any additional clients we allocate to you in the future.

Key responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement personalized learning plans and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

2. Facilitate the successful reintegration of children into mainstream classrooms

3. Bridge learning and socialization gaps, fostering independence and confidence

4. Maintain professional communication with parents and adhere to punctuality for sessions

5. Provide regular progress reports to the organization on a daily and monthly basis

6. Participate actively in training programs, workshops, and developmental sessions

7.Receive ongoing supervision and training support to enhance your skills and knowledge

8. Embrace and practice a child's rights-based neurodiversity affirming strengths based approach in all interactions and interventions

Who can apply

1. Female Candidates with Masters degree in Psychology/Social Work/special education

2. Must be willing to relocate to Bangalore/ work in the location assigned

3. Previous work/internship experience working with children, preferably those with disabilities

4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

5. Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving

6. Deep belief in the value of Inclusion and working with children.
