The responsibilities include planning, setting up, overseeing, and managing the IT infrastructure stack
The aim is to ensure that IT services are delivered smoothly and that the IT infrastructure remains operational for seamless business operations
Assessing technology solutions for IT infrastructure, conducting proof of concept trials, and integrating them with the existing infrastructure
Developing and implementing processes, policies, and procedures for IT infrastructure and continuously monitoring key performance indicators for improvement
Implementing security measures in network components such as firewalls
Creating a budget plan for IT expenditures, executing it, and monitoring cost control
Designing and implementing business continuity plans (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) procedures
Managing IT audits and ensuring compliance with regulations
The Successful Applicant
15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with min 4-5 years in a Life Insurance domain is a must
Strong hands on experience across all facets of infra, network, DC, end user computing, cloud technologies and implementations
Working knowledge of different cloud platforms - physical, private - experienced in network management, devices, firewall and DC
5+ years of experience in cloud implementations (Azure is preferred) along with experience on elastic solutions, SK, load balance, API orchestration
Strong working experience on IBM devices, Azure, AS400
Experienced in procurement processes and implementation of info sec policies and processes
Excellent communication skills and adept with stakeholder management including external vendor management
