Job Location: Chennai, Thoraipakkam Work Mode: Work from office only Experience Range - 3 to 9 years
Job Description: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the information technology field, with a specific focus on Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi testing. Proficiency in testing WLAN features and hands-on experience with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11r/k/v protocols, incorporating various authentication techniques in wireless technology. Expertise in throughput testing of WLAN solutions. Experience in functional protocol testing, including TR143, TR369, TR69, TR398, SNMP, MoCA, UPnP, WECB, eMTA, and IP Routing protocols. Hands-on experience with TCP/IP protocols suite. Knowledge in handling broadband gateway devices at scale under endurance/stability conditions, involving monitoring, debugging, and reporting. Experience in testing broadband gateways with live networks using a high number of real Wi-Fi clients. Proficient with testing tools such as Spirent Test Centre, IXIA IP Performance testing, AirPcaP with Wireshark, ixCharoit, iPerf, Roam Tool, CD Router, Veriwave, byteblower, Candela, DOCSIS spectrum analysis, etc. Familiarity with CWMP/ACS servers like Genie, BBNM, XMPP, etc. Ability to comprehend Rate vs Range test and Rate vs Orientation, along with knowledge of the conductive test environment. Hands-on experience in testing Mesh Solutions like Easy Mesh/Smart Mesh. Automation experience in TCL, Python, and shell scripting is an added advantage. DOCSIS Requirements: Proficiency in testing features/functionalities, configurations, debugging, and troubleshooting, including DOCSIS 3.0/3.1/4.0. Hands-on expertise in DOCSIS spectrum analysis and signal testing. Experience in test configurations on CMTS like Arris (E6000), Casa, cBR8, Huawei, etc. Preferably working experience in a Cable Multiple System Vendor environment.
