Job description
- Isolate and troubleshoot system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report
hardware issues to OEM/Vendors.
- Troubleshooting /Installation / reinstallation / configuration of systems printers
scanners.
- Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop/laptop standardization policies.
- Installation / reinstallation / configuration of inscope client software / applications.
- Access Control Vendor coordination for technical support.
- Troubleshooting /Installation / configuration of email clients.
- Support for local area network issues (LAN) DHCP client.
- Install antivirus software and check virus definition auto updates.
- Install approved patches onto desktops / laptops.
- Configure Print Queues for Servers / Users / Groups.
- Configure appropriate rights and permissions for accessing printer.
- Vendor Management coordinate with respective 3rd party for In scope IT Assets
and vendor issues.
- Log and coordinate calls being escalated to the vendors. Track the calls till resolution by the vendor as per the vendor committed SLO.
- Perform escalations matrix with the 3rd party vendors.
- Providing assistance / support / maintenance for the AV components non technical
failure.
- Voice lines management coordination of new phone connections Movement
enable STD/ISD with EPABX vendor in case of any technical issues.
- Hands & Feet support for Network related issues at different sites. Team will help and coordinate with GOC team for any network related issues only. No access will be owned for any of Network devices.
- Monthly Service Report will be published and shared.
- Engage in support and understanding of new tools and technologies to related to endpoint management.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer Technical Support Engineer or
similar role
- Handson 35 experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals like
printers and scanners
- Knowledge of network security practices and antivirus programs
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
- Excellent problemsolving and multitasking skills
- Customeroriented attitude
- BSc in Computer Science or relevant field
