Job description

• Good exposure of Software Testing methodologies, Implementation of Data Lakes, Data warehouse/ETL projects , Big Data projects in On-Premises Cloud Environments
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries and experience with any data visualization tool is preferable e.g. Tableau, Power BI.
• Experienced in ETL tools like Informatica Power Center, SAAS, PL-SQL
• Ability to write SQL queries to conduct data validations and probe quality issues with data.
• Strong experience in Project Delivery Methodologies: SDLC, Iterative, Agile, Scrum, Kanban
• Strong knowledge in ALM Tools like JIRA, TFS (Azure DevOps) Confluence.
• Good knowledge on data quality fundamentals and data governance concepts.
• Perform RCA and CAPA for quality issues.
• Experienced in ETL tools like Informatica Power Center, SAAS, PL-SQL.
• Experienced in BI tools like Tableau, MS Power BI, QlikView, SAP BO.
• Experienced in Test Data preparation to check the scenarios.
• Thorough hands-on experience with all levels of testing includes Smoke Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing and Regression Testing.
• Good knowledge of PL-SQL, PySpark SQL, on framing and tuning the Queries so that it covers all the data scenarios.
• Taking responsibility for ensuring QA delivery and management of Test resources, Pipeline, Status Reporting, Test Plans, Cases, Scripts, Results, Test Readiness Reviews, post-implementation Reviews.
• LoadingRunning the End-to-End jobs and verifying the Data loading from Source to ReportsDashboards.
• Verifying the Code Providing the inputs on Design change based on the Data Analysis.
• Participating in project review meetings to determine status, problem areas, suggest and review corrective actions, planning necessary extra work, and rework and re-plan activities.
• Manage Team workload, performance, and delivery targets.
• Involved in end-to-end Testing.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently as well as in a team.
• Accountable for high quality and on time delivery for task assigned to Validation team.
• Perform risk assessment and mitigate risk.
• Participating in the modification of company SOPs related to Validation Services
• Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards including defining, documenting, and implementing validation standards as needed
• Coordinating the creation and execution of automated test scripts in support of application releases
• Creating associated validation documentation using defined documentation methods.
• Evaluating and directing validation and quality assurance approaches
• Assisting in the generation of status reports
• Tracking all software versions, features, bugs, and validation efforts for all software created and/or modified by the Development teams.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes.
• Working with internal staff including technical staff, project and product managers and applications developers to assist with the review of project specifications.

• Performing other duties as assigned and deemed necessary.

• Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training
• Verifying work of other validation services team members to ensure quality deliverables.
• Reading, understanding, and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Establishing and enforcing departmental standards

• Directing the modification of company SOPs.
• Understanding client SOPs and ensuring project team members understand and adhere to the client SOPs.
• Active member of technical interview panel. Acting as a key mentor among staff in validation and quality assurance processes and tools
• Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes.
• Initiating and leading the implementation of improvements to work processes to better meet project schedule and budget, reduce project risk, or improve the final product.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred

Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in Software Quality Testing.
• Handling multiple Data Quality Management projects with hands on experience in relevant technologies.
• In-depth understanding of software quality assurance, preferably in a Clinical Data environment.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries to conduct data validations and probe quality issues with data.
• Strong experience in Project Delivery Methodologies: SDLC, Iterative, Agile, Scrum, Kanban
• Good knowledge and understanding of the Software Development, Life Cycle (SDLC) testing methodology and document management.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Hands-on QA team lead management experience
• Strong track record of creating test plans and writing test cases based on product requirements.
• Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
• Experience in test automation and testing frameworks (preferred)
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness (preferred)
• Comfortable communicating cross-functionality teams and across management levels.
• Experience with web based SAAS platforms (preferred)

• Working knowledge of the drug development process including knowledge of FDA requirements for GxPs and 21 CFR Part 11 required.

• Knowledge of cloud-based testing preferred.
• Having knowledge in programming like Python (preferred)
• Demonstrates required verbal and written communication skills including ability to communicate remotely.
