Principal Engineer-Cyber Security Lead

What you'll achieve

As a Principal Engineer, Cyber Security Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Cyber Security Services to our customers. You will need to provide technical leadership around Cyber Security, work with the team in resolving cyber security incidents and proactively suggest best practices and solutions to strengthen the customer environment .

You will:

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Primary responsibility will be monitoring and responding to alerts, creates detailed incident reports for customer delivery.
• Prepare monthly monitoring reports for customer environments, coordinates the implementation of security recommendations and best practices.
• Utilize a variety of tools to investigate incidents and take immediate action or recommend a course of action.
• Monitors and communicates threat intelligence from various resources that is relevant to our client's networks and systems.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, experience in Client relationship management.
• Experience with security monitoring tools, such as , Carbon Black, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Azure Identity ATP, Office 365 ATP, MCAS
• Experience with security incident and event monitoring solutions such as Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel
• Has good understanding and exposure to different security utilities - Nessus, NMAP, Cyberchef, Burpsuite etc.
• Willingness to work in flexible shifts to align with customer escalations / requirements / On-Call support.

Desirable Requirements

• Must hold at least one industry cybersecurity certification, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst CySA+, Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security + preferred
• Extensive experience in vSOC, Incident Recovery & Managed Detection Platforms
• Experience with XDR platforms.
