Skills Required : Manual API Testing Database Testing Automation : Selenium Java Full Job Description Responsibilities · Manage QA life cycle which includes the creation of Test strategies, Test Scenarios, Test Cases/Scripts · Manage Defect life-cycle management. · Review stories, functional requirements, and technical designs to create test plans and detailed test cases · Lead the manual and automated testing efforts for multiple projects and products. · Work closely with product managers, developers, and other teams to develop a deep understanding of a product’s requirements and ensure proper tests are documented · Perform different types of testing: functional, regression, smoke, and automation. · Assist business pre and post-launch. · Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability. · Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to determine the root cause of failure. · Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across the platform. · Work with both onshore and offshore teams to meet objectives and deadlines. · Work with agile software development processes and are ready to work in a fast-paced environment · Experience in automating build processes, application deployments, and continuous integration systems like Circle-CI and Jenkins · Automating test cases using automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver using Java and Katalon · Perform queries using SQL server and Database like PostgreSQL · Performing testing for APIs using different tools like postman, insomnia, etc. · Use Jira/Confluence for creating bugs, creating test cases, and creating documentation Qualifications ·9+ years of overall Quality Assurance experience · Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, procedures & testing techniques. · Demonstrated experience in test strategy development, test planning, test designing, and test execution · Experience testing public-facing websites and portals · Must have experience in automation tools like selenium with Java, Katalon Studio, etc. · Experience testing products used in the Financial Services products a plus · Must have experience with Postman, Insomnia, and other standard API testing tools · Ability to communicate effectively utilizing tools such as Teams, Slack, etc. · Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment · Must have SQL knowledgeJob tags
