We’re Looking for Director of Software Engineering, Practices & Capabilities!
We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Director of Software Engineering, Practices & Capabilities to join the InRhythm leadership team. This individual will be responsible for setting the company's technology strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions to our clients. This is a key leadership role that demands a deep understanding of technology trends, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering the highest value to our clients. As the Director of Software Engineering you will be responsible for developing go-to-market strategies and managing all aspects of our range of mobile product offerings. We’re looking for a natural leader with aptitude for building and maintaining relationships with executive level stakeholders and a desire to deliver high-impact mobile solutions to some of the most well respected brands in the world. At InRhythm, You Will Own your role and its development Learn new skills to accelerate your career Collaborate across diverse teams Act as a subject matter expert to the InRhythm Community internally and externally What You Bring To The Table 10+ years of application development experience with 5+ years of consulting experience working closely with enterprise clients driving their digital transformation journeys 4+ years of experience building and managing a consulting practice focused on Web and Cloud-native application development and platform modernization experience, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS/Azure, CI/CD and Testing Automation Proven track record of building India-based teams for modern software application development for US-based consulting organizations from scratch and managing them Strong executive presence with creative brainstorming skills and a high degree of comfort speaking and influencing internal and external stakeholders Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide cross-functional teams, set strategic directions, and drive revenue from new customers / markets Global perspective and experience in exploring new markets and opportunities on an international scale Proven success in developing and executing technology roadmaps that have resulted in the creation of compelling products and solutions, addressing market needs and opportunities Experience partnering with clients to define business needs, provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving architectural recommendations Expertise in creating detailed solution descriptions and architecture diagrams for presentations, POC assessments, proposals and implementation plans Experience migrating or transforming large-scale legacy applications with millions of users Computer Science or Engineering degree, Masters preferred Location: Pune (Hybrid) - Relocation Available Accountability The Director of Software Engineering will be extremely customer-focused, providing assessments and solution architecture while growing InRhythm's consulting business. You will build a strong community of thought-leaders who are keen on helping our customers with building world-class web and cloud-native applications and platforms. The areas of responsibility will be: Advisory Serve as a subject matter expert in a broad spectrum of technologies and capabilities at InRhythm, driving pre-sales, SOW development, RFP response and delivery. Identify market and client priorities and provide insight to InRhythm Business Development and Client Services. Solution Architecture Drive and design solutions and offerings based on understanding clients’ business challenges, industry trends and what they need InRhythm to achieve Be able to articulate requirements for resources needed; assist with initial project mobilization and project delivery and fulfilment Practice & Community Building Build, lead and mentor consultants at all levels in their careers to create a strong practice community Provide guidance and goal-setting to InRhythm Managers in all Practice Areas for their career growth and professional development Brand Promotion & Thought Leadership Take initiative to explore, evangelize, and represent InRhythm at events, conferences and speaking engagements that help increase our brand recognition and improve our consultants' knowledge. Develop thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, articles, presentations, and speaking engagements, to showcase InRhythm’s expertise and capabilities Talent Acquisition, retention and growth Partner with InRhythm’s Talent Acquisition team to develop, manage and implement modern talent acquisition strategies to increase headcount across practices. Partner with PeopleOps to improve retention Organization Growth Collaborate with senior leadership and other Practice Area Leads in defining long-term organizational strategies, processes and roadmaps Work with Finance to run P/L driven practices based on clearly defined quarterly and annual targets Nice to have: Experience working within the financial services industry.
