Hardware Power Electronics Verification Engineers will be responsible for ensuring the verification of the product throughout the lifecycle of our revolutionary Motor Drive Controllers products. As a verification engineer, you will be responsible for designing the testing methodology, selecting appropriate testing environments, designing test plans, selecting testing tools, writing up test procedures, and performing the tests. You may also be required to conduct quality control inspections. To ensure success as a Verification engineer, you should possess a working knowledge of power electronics engineering. You should be able to analyze products and create reliable and thorough testing procedures to determine their functionality. He/ She should be familiar with Digital/Analog power electronics circuits. The candidate should be able to work independently, and part of a team as needed.

Duties and responsibilities:

Board and system level electrical verification Design, and implement test environment, and setup. Design, and execute the test plans. Create a verification plans for PCBAs in the system Execute the verification plan with the help of a technician or by themself Responsible for automation, data collection, post processing and report generation Review the test results, reproduce any failures, suggest corrective actions Debug and root cause a design issue and relay the findings to the design team Provide quality control inspections. Provide professional reports

Skills and Experience:

5 or more years of Working experience of Power Electronics, V&V experience of Power Electronics circuits, and equipment. Testing of Hardware sub-assemblies and final product. Ability to understand hardware design Good hands-on experience in debugging using lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Logic Analyzers, signal generators etc. Ability to do FW integration testing and perform regression testing Being creative, hands on, with the ability to build prototype assembly Knowledge of mechanical and electrical testing systems and tools Be able to prepare V&V procedures through studying product specifications, related standards, and target customers. Work with Firmware/hardware engineers teams to determine functionality protocols. Determine testing environments and verification tools. Building and calibrating electrical instruments and testing tools. Planning the method and sequence for testing operations. Writing up final test procedures and training other staff, as needed. Can read and understand schematics.

Background:

Diploma, B.E - EEE, ECE (or equivalent) from a reputed institution with 5+ years of relevant experience
