Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Code, create test plans, test, debug, and document existing and new automation pipelines.
o Communicate face-to-face with their peers and customers in a participatory environment.
o Be responsible for the quality and timeliness of your own work.
o Stay current with the latest technologies, patterns, and tooling.
o Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision.
o Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as daily standup and retrospectives.
o Subject Matter Expert with hands-on delivery expertise.
o Cloud native expertise.
o SRE experience.
Job Qualifications/Experience Required:
o Expert in DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Git, CloudFormation/Terraform, or similar).
o Experience with Configuration Management concepts tools and implementations.
o Experience with application telemetry, monitoring and alerting solutions (Splunk, CloudWatch or similar).
o Experience with Cloud solutions i.e. AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, RDS, ALB/NLB).
o Experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
o Programming skills with Linux Schell scripts i.e. Bash or similar.
o Experience with networking ( Telnet, SSH, Firewall, VPN, Routing and Load Balancing).
o Experience with Linux and open source software.
o Fluency in one or more programming languages (i.e. Java, PHP, Python or others).
o Experience with code-quality and automated testing (Sonar, Junit, Selenium or similar).
o Experience with API standards (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
o Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MongoDb, Redis).
o Understanding of agile development.
