KEY RESPONSIBILITIES C ore responsibilities - Understanding the regulatory requirements regarding UW
- Managing Governance related project and driving the closure
- Publishing monthly Dashboards to the respective stakeholders
- Highlighting the outages and sharing the data post careful assessment and validation with internal audit teams/underwriting team
- Working in coordination with the underwriting production managers to improve the overall accuracy in decision making
- Preparing and conducting monthly training/meetings updating activities under Governance framework
- Assessment and evaluation in end to end closure of cases highlighted under Governance framework (Audit, Quality check etc)
- Conduct trainings/case clinics /mentoring basis above observations and findings
- Support in internal & external audit activities such as Internal Assurance audit , Legal and compliance ,IRDAI audit & statutory
Build strong risk management practices within Underwriting - Develop risk selection guidelines to protect MLI's benefits and ensure effective mortality experience management.
People Management- - Coach and build in-house underwriting capability through a professional and engaged team.
- Conduct performance reviews
| Measures of Success- - Adherence to all regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Timely closure of audit observations and outages shared under Governance framework
- End to end closure on cases assessed under quality check
- Sharing regular case studies and conducting trainings for improvising the quality check score
- Monthly dashboards
- Solution based action plans
- Regular rhythm on touch base with underwriting productions managers
- Successful collaboration with stakeholders
- Closure of critical projects assigned and ensure closure
