A leading Canadian based digital agency is looking for an experienced Manager - Strategy (SEO) to join their team.
You will be working remotely (from home) and reporting directly into the corporate office in Toronto, Canada. Only candidates with prior digital agency experience will be contacted. The work hours will be Monday -Friday 9 am to 5 pm New York time. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is needed for this role. We are seeking a highly skilled Manager - Strategy for our SEO department to lead the development and implementation of effective SEO strategies for our clients. The ideal candidate will be an experienced strategist who can provide strategic direction and guidance to the team and collaborate with other departments to deliver high-quality SEO solutions. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that drive business results for clients. Collaborate with the content team to create effective content strategies that align with SEO goals. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the agency’s SEO strategies are always at the forefront of the industry. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and develop actionable recommendations to improve client campaigns. Work closely with the account management team to ensure client satisfaction and effective communication throughout the entire project lifecycle. Manage and mentor a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals. Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to understand their business objectives and develop SEO strategies that align with their goals. Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry experts, vendors, and partners to stay informed of the latest trends and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in SEO, with a strong track record of developing and executing successful SEO strategies. Experience managing and mentoring a team of SEO specialists. In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, tools, and techniques. Excellent analytical skills and ability to use data to make informed decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools. Proven track record of achieving results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team. Qualifications: - Any Graduate with a minimum of 4 years of work experience in Strategy Planning & Execution for Search Engine Optimization.- Experience with tools like SEM Rush, AhRefs, Screaming Frog and similar ones- Have hands-on knowledge of SEO campaigns & Analytics (one page, off page and analytics)- Familiarity with Google Data Studio Reporting and customization of reports and GA4 mastery - Have experience in driving organic growth for multiple clients at a time.- Have strong project management skills including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment.- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent.- Have an appetite for Risk and should be a strong decision-maker.Job tags
