Position description
Overall position purpose
The Learning Insights Consultant will be instrumental in shaping how we design and measure our EY learning and learner experiences.
As a Learning Insights Consultant, you will be responsible for the evaluation, measurement and reporting on the effectiveness of our learning and development initiatives across the firm.
They will keep abreast of the latest methods to collect learning data and insights for improved learning experiences, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the organization..
Working closely with the Learning Experience & Insights Leader, Learning Technology Manager, and Experience Consultant, this role is responsible for:
- Understanding how learning and growth is experienced at EY by analysing internal learning data and external benchmarks, to capture, analyse and report on learning insights
- Recommending and designing learning Feedback Loops for all learning content, events, and experiences
- Creating one source of truth for learning data and insights
- Creating Dashboards that visually display an overview of learning data
- Researching best practice learning insights, benchmarks, and methodologies to inform our EY learning insights practices
- Working closely with the learning experience and technology teams and learning & development teams to ensure insights are translated into viable learning solutions and ROI data
Major responsibilities/duties
- Design, develop and manage learning evaluation and measurement strategies that gauge the effectiveness of learning interventions and solutions.
- Collect, analyse, and report on learning data, including learning engagement metrics, learning feedback, and learning outcomes across various touchpoints.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify the learning needs, design learning programs, and improve learning outcomes.
- Provide insights and deliver recommendations based on learning analytics to improve effectiveness of learning programs and solutions.
- Develop and maintain processes for consistent and scalable data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Stay current on the latest in learning research and innovation, bringing industry best practices and emerging trends into our learning environment.

Day‑to‑day challenges
You will need to remain agile and adapt to changing requests from the business, whilst ensuring you are creating best in class learning experiences. You will be required to manage competing priorities, varying content focus areas and multiple deliverables in this role. Other challenges may include:
- Balancing accessibility, priorities, and quality of training data
- Managing time and business process requirements
- Teams and participants resistance to adopting new ways of learning feedback and measurement
Qualifications, knowledge & experience
Qualifications and experience
- Proven experience in the Learning & Development field, preferably in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in learning analytics, measurement methodologies and data analysis.
- Market awareness of learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and learning technology.
Knowledge
- Advanced IT skills – Microsoft Office 365 suite – especially MS Excel and Power BI
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in data analytics in a learning function.
- Degree in Data Analytics or equivalent.
