Overview

The manager will be responsible for :

Inventory

Warehouse Operations

Customer Service - Work closely with sales and customer service staff to meet purchasing and delivery requirement of customers, measure and report on performance. Ensure that stock receipts and inventory adjustment are completed on time and accurately.

Organizational Talent - Select, on board, manage, review performance and take appropriate action discipline and terminate staff, in conjunction .

Ensure company policies and guidelines are implemented. Ensure all staff meets predefined goals.Ensure effective communications are maintained within the team and externally.Conduct team meetings at regular intervals. Workplace Health & Safety - Ensure a safe working environment for all staff and safe handling of all Dangerous Goods and Hazardous products. Ensure safe handling of all dangerous goods and hazardous products. Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available to cover all eventualities. Participate as a representative of the WH&S committee. Quality Control - Ensure compliance to the QA manual and processes. Comply with relevant codes, quality control as well as the Bio-Rad quality manual to ensure correct dispatch and receiving procedures are adhered to. Create and maintain procedures and work instructions appropriate to carrying out warehouse, inventory and purchasing tasks. Ensure all staff are trained in current procedures and work instructions and that training is updated and recorded.

Purchasing

Manage the purchasing function to meet company objectives with appropriate inventory stockholding to minimize backorders and DSI. Ensure suppliers are monitored and assessed according to procedures.

Management Reporting

Implement, monitor and manage key performance indicators for the Pacific operations. Provide weekly and monthly reports and statistics on operational performance and inventory for operational analysis.
