Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales activities of premium Packaged Mineral water within a designated geographic area. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, leading a team of sales representatives, and building strong relationships with distributors and retailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders in the assigned area.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and market penetration.
  • Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and ensure optimal product placement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns in the region.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the packaged drinking water industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local market and industry trends.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Results-driven and customer-focused.
