Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales activities of premium Packaged Mineral water within a designated geographic area. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, leading a team of sales representatives, and building strong relationships with distributors and retailers.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders in the assigned area.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and market penetration.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and ensure optimal product placement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns in the region.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the packaged drinking water industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the local market and industry trends.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
