Key Responsibilities:
Workshop Operations Management:
- Supervise and coordinate all activities within the workshop, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Plan and organize workflow to meet repair and maintenance schedules and optimize productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead a team of technicians and mechanics, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Promote a positive work culture that fosters teamwork, collaboration, and a strong sense of ownership among the workshop staff.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality repair and maintenance services to customers, adhering to industry standards and company specifications.
- Implement quality control measures to identify and rectify any issues or defects in the repair processes.
Customer Service:
- Collaborate with the customer service department to ensure timely and effective communication with clients regarding repair status and estimated completion times.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly, striving to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Inventory and Resource Management:
- Manage workshop inventory, spare parts, and equipment to ensure an adequate supply for repair and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to source quality spare parts and materials from approved vendors.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage the workshop's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on service quality.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures wherever possible.
