Job Description
The tasks a Cast House Operator is expected to perform include:
- Operating cast house equipment
- Performing duties regarding blast furnace stove and stock house
Educational Qualifications And Training - Minimum – Class 10th pass
- Certified training for Cast House Senior Operator (programme aligned to ISC/Q0407 job released by Indian Iron & Steel Sector Skill Council)
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Skilled in handling cast house equipment
- Knowledge of functioning of blast furnace stove and cast house crane
- Knowledge of maintenance of cast house equipment
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES
- Training in interpretation of log book report
- Induction training of cast house operations
- Training in mud gun clay and tap hole drill machine
- Training in cast house crane functioning
- Training in 5S and safety practices
Required Work Experience - Minimum experience of 5 years in similar function & 10th pass
EXPECTED SALARY: Negotiable
