Candidate requirements:
Education : B.E. (Electrical)/ M.E
Relevant experience: 5-6 years
Job description
● Studying the documents received from Architect & client and collecting required data for electrical design.
● Attending design meetings, coordinating with clients, other parties for preparation of design. Preparation of MOM
● Preparation of load sheet, electrical system drawings, SLD and any other drawings as required.
● Preparation of Design Basis report and calculations for electrical system as required.
● Preparation of BOQ, tender, technical specifications, cost estimations etc. for the project.
● Collaborating with all necessary stakeholders to gather necessary information.
● Visiting sites for meetings and for collection of data or for inspection from time to time.
● Interacting with vendors as required to ensure that execution matches the design intent.
● Understanding the required design guidelines and keeping oneself updated from time to time is the same.
● Give the project management team necessary inputs. Ensure that vendor approvals and/or queries are responded to in reasonable time.
● Being proactive with the ability to drive the project as required.
Skills:
● Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
● Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD.
● Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit theory, power systems, and electromagnetics.
● Experience with simulation and analysis tools, such as ETAP.
● Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IS, IEC, and IEEE.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Effective communication and collaboration skills.
● Prior experience in electrical design or related roles may be preferred.
