What Are We Looking For We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Designer with a proven track record of at least 4+ years in product UX design. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on design expert proficient in UX principles, adept at crafting and maintaining design systems, and possesses advanced skills in Figma. As a key member of our dynamic team, the Senior UX Designer will play a pivotal role in driving user-centric design solutions and ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience across our products.
Responsibilities :
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership to the UX design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Mentor junior designers, contributing to their professional growth and development.
- Design Systems Mastery: Create and maintain comprehensive design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency in the design process. Implement best practices for design system governance, scalability, and usability.
- Figma Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in utilizing Figma as the primary design tool with deep proficiency in creating components and variants. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams using Figma, ensuring efficient design workflows.
- User-Centered Design: Apply UX principles to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly product interfaces.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals. Communicate effectively, translating complex design concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Innovation and Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, infusing innovative design approaches into product development. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the design team.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design deliverables, maintaining high standards of quality and adherence to design principles. Ensure consistency in design execution and alignment with established design systems.
- Advocacy for User Experience: Advocate for the user within the organization, ensuring that user needs and perspectives are prioritized in design decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to create a user-centric mindset across the organization.
Required skill sets: - 4+ years of UX design experience
- Good understanding of UX best practices and frameworks
- Good knowledge about Accessibility guidelines, component and design systems in Figma
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good experience in designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
- Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
- Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
- Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge of the industry's latest trends and technologies.
- Understanding of typography, color theories are added advantage
