Responsibilities :
- Design and develop highprecision tools fixtures and equipment for use in automotive manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineers production managers and quality control to understand tooling requirements and ensure seamless integration into the production line.
- Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies and cost analyses to optimize tooling designs for efficiency and costeffectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry trends technological advancements and emerging materials to incorporate innovative solutions into tooling designs.
- Conduct prototype testing and validation to ensure the reliability and functionality of tools in realworld manufacturing environments.
- Provide technical support to production teams troubleshoot tooling issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Design or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Tools Designer in the automotive industry with a strong portfolio showcasing successful tooling projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks) and a strong understanding of engineering principles.
- Indepth knowledge of manufacturing processes materials and tooling standards in the automotive sector.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
