Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect data from various sources within the organization.
- Clean organize and analyze data to identify trends patterns and insights.
- Develop methods for data quality improvement and standardization.
- Report Generation:
- Create and maintain reports dashboards and visualizations using relevant software tools (e.g. Excel Power BI Tableau).
- Generate periodic reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) operational metrics and other relevant data points.
- Customize reports as per the requirements of different stakeholders.
- Database Management:
- Maintain and update databases to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot databaserelated issues and optimize database performance.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement process enhancements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and make adjustments as necessary.
- Decision Support:
- Provide decision support by presenting insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Assist management in making informed decisions by providing relevant data and analysis.
- Training and Documentation:
- Train employees on data collection procedures report generation and database usage.
- Document processes procedures and best practices related to MIS activities.
- Adhoc Analysis:
- Conduct adhoc analysis as requested by management or other departments.
- Respond to datarelated inquiries and provide timely support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role preferably in the field of MIS or data analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel SQL Power BI Tableau etc.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge of database management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques.
- Understanding of business processes and KPIs.
The MIS Executive plays a vital role in supporting decisionmaking processes by providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders across the organization. This position requires a combination of technical expertise analytical skills and business acumen to effectively manage data and drive process improvements.
