Facade architect should be able to identify problems that affect the durability of the building. This could include cracked glass panes, movement within structural elements or worn seals.
Facade architects also work to make buildings more environmentally sustainable, allowing light but not heat in and reducing the load on building services. Each building brings a new challenge.

Consider all Structural aspects associated with each project Liaise with Architects, Building Service Engineers and Sub-Contractors Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities
Candidate shall be well conversed with relative standards for facade design
Candidate shall be awareness of basic Building Physics including Ventilation, Solar gain control, Thermal Insulation, Glare control etc.
The person should also have good computer skills and able to provide simple drawings in CAD, BIM & Navisworks. The ability to communicate through drawing would be an advantage.
Lead the design aspect of global façade projects within the team.
Implement a holistic approach to projects, addressing considerations such as Fire, Acoustics, Energy, Sustainability, Structural, Cost, Installation, and Aesthetics.
Implement a holistic approach on our projects including coordination and resolution of Fire, Acoustics, Energy, Sustainability, Structural, Cost, Installation, Aesthetics considerations.
Collaborate with consultants, including architects, structural, sustainability, and acoustic engineers, to achieve optimal façade envelope design outcomes.
Assume the role of Project Leader on assigned projects, monitoring team performance against timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
Candidate shall be Graduate Architecture, having minimum 12 years of experience 6 years of experience in the façade industry. If previously worked with facade designer, then it will be added advantage
Familiarity with relevant façade and structural software, such as Strand 7, SJ MEPLA, Therm or Flixo, Autocad, Revit.
Comprehensive knowledge of various façade systems
Effective communication skills for client interactions and report writing.
