Job Title: Fire Protection Design and Presale Engineer Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Design and Presale Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and implementing fire protection systems while also engaging in presales activities to support business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection engineering, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

1.    Fire Protection System Design: Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, alarms, suppression systems, and smoke control systems.

2.    Presales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during presales activities, including client meetings, site surveys, and proposal development.

3.    Engineering Analysis: Conduct engineering analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with local fire codes, regulations, and industry standards.

4.    Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

5.    Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners, including troubleshooting, training, and knowledge sharing.

6.    Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fire protection engineering, and implement continuous improvement initiatives accordingly.

Requirements

1.    Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

2.    Proven experience in fire protection system design and engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

3.    Strong knowledge of fire codes, regulations, and standards such as NFPA, IBC, and UL.

4.    Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.

5.    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

6.    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

7.    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
