Technical Skills : - 2-3+ years security engineering experience covering Network, Azure Cloud, and associated infrastructures. - Experience working with an industry-recognized SIEM solution or equivalent in detecting, investigating, and documenting security incidents (Splunk, Azure Sentinel, etc.). - Experience working with vulnerability management platforms and facilitating the remediation process before validating the fix. - A basic level of experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Python, etc., including experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub. - Strong oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to understand technology sufficiently to clearly communicate complexity in simple terms for key stakeholders. - Working knowledge of security governance frameworks (NIST, SOC, ISO27001). Desirable Skills :- Experience with other Cloud service providers capabilities and architectural best practices (AWS & GCP). - Coding experience in any developer discipline (Front-end, back-end, full-stack). Responsibilities : - Facilitate the end-to-end incident management process in collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the organization, serving as the security subject matter expert. - Drive the vulnerability management strategy from identification through to remediation, ensuring correct change management and communication plans are executed effectively. - Contribute to the development of an Infrastructure-as-Code platform, developing policy-based security controls and adding them to code repositories in line with security best practice frameworks. - Take a leading role in developing data loss prevention capabilities in collaboration with key stakeholders. - Understand the security standard ISO27001 and its impact on the organization, ensuring activities conform to this standard and are enforced throughout the organization. - Consolidate cloud security controls across cloud providers and execute improvement plans to a high standard.
