Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the organisation's marketing and brand objectives
Lead and manage a team of content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure high-quality content production
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product and design, to identify content needs and opportunities to support activities such as customer acquisition and retention
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, topics, and best practices to inform content strategy
Oversee the creation and publication of various content types, including blog posts, articles, white papers, social media content, website copy, and email campaigns
Ensure content is engaging, informative, and consistent with the brand's tone, style, and messaging guidelines
Monitor content performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine content strategy and improve content effectiveness
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and content marketing best practices, and share knowledge with the team to foster continuous improvement
Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers, as needed, to supplement content creation efforts
Maintain content calendars, production schedules, and project management tools to ensure timely delivery of content
Requirements:
Active on social media and managed brand pages in the past
Ability to understand ICP and pain points of the target audience
Understanding of templates for different content types/copy/design
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful content strategies that align with business goals
Proven experience in content management, ideally in a leadership or managerial role
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet competing timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in managing and mentoring a team of content creators, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative environment
Knowledge of analytics tools to measure and analyse content performance (e.g., Google Analytics, social media analytics)
Familiarity with various digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, etc
Understanding of brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling techniques
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership
