The Opportunity
As the HR Data Management Lead, you will define data management strategies, drive data management priorities, and issue Enterprise Data Standards and guidelines with the goal of enhancing and continuously improving the controls over of the complete lifecycle of the data.
- Develop and implement HR data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of HR data across HR platforms.
- Oversee the management of HR data from various systems and sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency.
- Act as a champion for customer focus and listen to and connect with customers and collaborators effectively ensuring that procedures and systems are in place to advise and receive feedback from service users, partners, customers, and colleagues, and evaluating that feedback, taking appropriate action to secure continuous improvement.
Human Resources at Nutanix
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver HR data-related solutions to meet business needs.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for HR data initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging HR data management, reporting, and analytics technologies.
- Provide strategic direction to the HR leadership team on HR data management.
- Ensuring solutions and advice provided are by statutory requirements and in a way that positively impacts customer effectiveness, efficiency, confidence, and data integrity.
- Regularly and when instructed to complete data quality audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented for any deviations.
- Ensure the Data Dictionary, HR data architecture and flows are aligned and clearly documented!
Your Role
- Assess the current state of data governance for HR systems and establish target goals, processes, and benchmark metrics for future state.
- Setup standards and processes for HR Data Quality/Retention/Distribution/Security
- Implement HR data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of HR data.
- Monitor and track ongoing data quality levels, ensuring adequate quality is maintained so the data can effectively support business processes (ex-payroll). Qualify, quantify, and articulate the business impact of data quality issues and the benefits of master data improvements in business terms. Identify optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues to achieve targets and implement improvement approaches in and beyond their immediate area.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, cross-functional teams, IT resources and overall champion or sponsor for the data governance/quality program.
- Regularly exposing data quality metrics via standard reporting mechanisms (for example, data quality scorecard or dashboard).
- Actively participate in designing and deploying applications and data integration processes to ensure standards, controls and consistently high-quality data are implemented.
- Follow prescribed data quality methodologies to execute data quality improvement projects. Identify and quantify resources for data quality improvement projects. Design and support the development of changes to business processes. Identify and support the resolution of techniques and behaviours that impact data quality.
- Publicise successes to further engage individuals at all levels of the organisation.
What You Will Bring
- Graduate with min a bachelor's Degree (Business/IT, Human Resources, or relevant subject) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Min 10+ years of experience in HR Data Management.
- Demonstrable experience in auditing HR- IT systems, data, governance, etc. Should possess experience in the administration of Audits and data on HR systems.
- Should have a good understanding of Risk and compliance in HR Systems.
- Detailed understanding of the data architecture/flows/interdependencies of following applications of Workday, ATS, LMS, and other HR systems downstream (Payroll, Finance, etc). The ability to extract data from the above applications is preferred.
- Experience with GDPR and data privacy or knowledge of data privacy legislation is preferred. Sound understanding of data privacy regulations and how global companies manage and share data to operate global HR processes/programs to meet business needs.
- Knowledge of HR Technology, vendors, and implementation across multiple markets.
- Knowledge/experience of SOX Audit preferred.
- Knowledge of HR business processes.
- Experience working in global teams.
- Stakeholder Management - Presentations and Storytelling
- Experience in delivering data projects against business requirements organised, strong time management skills and ability to prioritise numerous tasks to meet established deadlines. Ability to work, provide and contribute to a matrix global team.
- Provide thought-leadership to contribute to enabling the culture of Data-driven decision-making and strive to bring External view and Strategic thinking to refine our approach to Data Strategy. Also provide advisory to Data Domains in creating Data domain strategies, aligning, and adopting the Enterprise Data Strategy and DM Strategy
