Job description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for crafting the overall security strategy for the Petrochemical Plant project, including thorough security assessments to identify project-specific threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure seamless integration of security measures into the project's design, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to incorporate security features into the physical layout and infrastructure.
- Develop access control plans, specifying who has access to various plant areas and the conditions under which access is granted, utilizing technologies like keycards and biometric systems.
- Design the layout of surveillance cameras and monitoring systems, optimizing coverage for critical areas, and determining camera placement, angles, and coverage zones.
- Oversee the implementation of perimeter security measures, including fences, gates, barriers, and intrusion detection systems, aimed at preventing unauthorized access to plant boundaries.
- Stay current with the latest security technologies and assess their suitability for the project's needs.
- Preparing BoQ involving listing down all equipment, materials, and labor required for the project, specifying quantity, quality, and specifications of each itemin collaboration with Automation Lead
- Ensure compliance with security regulations, engaging with regulatory bodies to address specific compliance requirements at local, regional, and industry levels.
- Collaborate with security technology vendors and contractors to guarantee proper installation of security systems and adherence to project specifications.
- Offer input to the budgeting process, initiating NFA and getting budget allocated for the security measures and technologies along with initiating purchasing requests for the items listed in the BoQ and confirming orders through the techno-commercial department
- Maintain meticulous records of security designs, plans, assessments, and recommendations, providing regular reports to project stakeholders as also ensuring payments are released to vendors on time.
Qualifications Minimum 10 to maximum 15 Years of relevant work experience in the similar role in a Petrochemical / Refinery / Projects & Construction business.
Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Science/ IT).
Knowledge of IT networking and certifications like CCNA, Security+ desirable
CISM certified professional will be given preference
Certificate in PMP, CPP preferable
