Job Responsibilities

  • Data Collection: Gather relevant data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs.
  • Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. This may involve handling missing values, removing duplicates, and transforming data into a suitable format.
  • Data Analysis: Use statistical methods and tools to analyze data and extract meaningful insights. This may include creating visualizations, identifying patterns, and performing trend analysis.
  • Data Modeling: Understand statistical models to predict and analyze trends, patterns, and relationships within the data.
  • Database Management: Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data efficiently. Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) is often required.
  • Programming and Scripting: Use programming languages (such as Python, R, or others) and scripting languages to automate data analysis processes and tasks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and decision-makers, to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and solve complex business problems using data-driven approaches.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work independently to solve open-ended questions.
  • Analyze and report on performance of digital advertising and content marketing programs.
  • Interpret analytical findings (including trends and correlations) into actionable recommendations for campaign design and/or adjustment.
  • Present findings and recommendations to customers in a clear and concise way to drive appropriate outcomes.
  • Ensure proper implementation of various analytics platforms.
  • Design and analyze tests and experiments.
  • Build, maintain, and improve performance dashboards leveraging customer feedback for use and accessibility.
  • Advise clients on relevant best practices.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Statistics.
  • Strong data manipulation skills: querying and manipulating data with SQL; advanced MS Excel skills (vlookup, functions, dashboards, Power Pivot) or equivalent working knowledge of R or Python.
  • Experience in a digital marketing team with a focus on analytics for digital acquisition / performance marketing paid digital media (social, search, display, programmatic), email, landing pages.
  • Experience with A/B ad and conversion testing. Extra points for experience with multi-touch attribution or marketing mix modeling experience.
  • Experience with healthcare or B2B/B2C marketing a plus.
  • Concise and clear written and oral communication. Experience with delivering insights and reports with PowerPoint slides. Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience building dashboards in Data Studio, PowerBI or Tableau is a plus.
