JD – Data Scientist

This is a full-time position with one of our clients

Experience – 5+ years

Location – Finland

Only candidates who are ready to relocate to Finland may apply.

Job Highlights
Must-Have skills:

• 5+ years of experience in data science in the energy sector.
• Person should have at least a Master´s degree (for example in engineering, mathematics, operations research or physics)
• Experience in mathematical modelling and optimization.
• Solid computer and data management experience (Python, SQL) and solid understanding of modern approaches (AI, ML).
• A good understanding of the Nordic and Finnish power markets and power market modelling. Optimization experience is seen as an asset.

Good to have skills:

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A curious, innovative and forward-looking mindset.
• A strong team player with effective communication skills.
• Should be fluent in English, ability to communicate in Finnish is seen as an asset.
