Job Description

- Conducting primary / secondary research on sectors to develop an in-depth understanding of the sector and form a point of view on investment attractiveness

- Identifying attractive investment opportunities for prospecting and detailed assessment

- Engaging with the founders to understand businesses & business models

- Supporting deal assessment, business model evaluation and execution which includes sector research & understanding, analysis, diligence process and transaction documentation.

- Tracking performance of portfolio companies, the relevant sectors & competition

- Working closely with portfolio partners and industry experts to drive initiatives on portfolio value creation

The Successful Applicant

- Experience: Candidates with 3-4 years of relevant work experience (private equity, venture capital-growth)

- Academic Background: CA (AIR's) or bachelor's degree/MBA from Tier I institutes

High preference will be given to candidates with exceptional academic records

- Location: Chennai or willing to relocate to Chennai (Can shift to Bangalore in the subsequent year if the location is a constraint)
