Job Overview
We are hiring a Steward to join our team at Rural Blues The Restobar. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation standards of the restaurant. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Steward or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations
- Basic culinary arts knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Excellent written communication skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers upon arrival
- Escort customers to their tables and provide menu recommendations
- Take accurate food and drink orders
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure table settings are clean and tidy
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
